SaveState affiliate agreement
Version 2026-08-22-v1 · Effective 22 August 2026
This agreement is between SaveState, operated by Gustav Fyhn Larsen, Dalagervej 12, 6623 Vorbasse, Denmark (“SaveState”), and the person or organisation accepting it (“Affiliate”). It governs the referral code, referral link, commission ledger, and payouts shown in the private affiliate portal.
Joining and authority
The Affiliate must provide accurate contact information and, if accepting for an organisation, have authority to bind it. Participation begins only after SaveState creates the affiliate record and the Affiliate accepts the current version in the portal. SaveState may approve, decline, suspend, or end participation to protect the service, customers, or its reputation.
Configured commercial terms
The portal and SaveState’s internal Engine identify the Affiliate’s commission model, commission scope, customer discount, discount duration, attribution period, and commission hold period. Those configured terms form part of this agreement. A commission can be a percentage or a fixed USD amount and can apply to the first qualifying payment or each qualifying recurring payment. Changes apply prospectively unless SaveState and the Affiliate agree otherwise in writing.
Exclusive attribution
- A visitor may have only one attributed Affiliate at a time, and a customer can never generate commission for two Affiliates on the same payment.
- Before the first qualifying payment, the latest valid referral link replaces an earlier referral link.
- A valid affiliate code entered by the customer takes priority over a referral link. A later valid code may replace an earlier code before the first qualifying payment.
- The first qualifying positive payment permanently finalises that customer’s Affiliate attribution. Later links or codes do not move that customer to another Affiliate.
- Self-referrals are permitted when they represent a genuine, successfully collected SaveState subscription payment. Fraudulent, reversed, disputed, test, fabricated, or unpaid transactions never qualify.
When commission is earned
A portal signup, Checkout Session, trial, invoice creation, invoice finalisation, or payment-method collection does not by itself earn cash. Commission enters the ledger only after Stripe reports a successful invoice payment, the invoice is in a paid state, and the amount actually paid is greater than zero. SaveState calculates the commission from the qualifying amount under the configured terms.
Commission remains pending during the configured hold period and may be reduced, disputed, reversed, or withheld for refunds, chargebacks, payment reversals, duplicate processing, fraud, legal requirements, or a calculation error. A fixed commission cannot exceed the rules enforced by the configured program. The Engine ledger and Stripe payment records control if browser or portal counters differ.
Payout policy
Payouts are manual bank transfers only. The Affiliate requests a payout by emailing support@savestate.dk. SaveState will use that exchange to obtain or confirm the necessary bank, identity, tax, or invoice information. There is no automatic payout schedule and no payout is complete merely because a request was sent.
Only approved, unreversed commission can be paid. After SaveState completes the bank transfer, an owner records the payout in the Engine, links the included commission entries, records the bank reference, and uploads a receipt. The payout and receipt then appear in the Affiliate’s portal. Bank processing time and information requests can delay receipt of funds.
Promotion standards
The Affiliate must describe SaveState and its offers accurately, identify commercial affiliate content where law or platform rules require it, and use only current prices and claims. The Affiliate may not send spam, impersonate SaveState, register confusing domains or accounts, bid on misleading brand terms, promise unavailable discounts, use malware or forced redirects, interfere with another Affiliate’s attribution, or present itself as SaveState’s employee or legal representative. SaveState grants a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use supplied program assets solely to make permitted referrals.
Customer data and confidentiality
The portal deliberately shows pseudonymous customer labels and limited funnel, plan, subscription, revenue, commission, and timing information. It does not provide customer email addresses, payment credentials, or backup contents. The Affiliate must keep portal access and non-public commercial information confidential, use portal data only to administer this program, and promptly report suspected unauthorised access.
Independent status and taxes
The Affiliate is an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, reseller, franchisee, or partner in a legal partnership. The Affiliate cannot bind SaveState or make commitments on SaveState’s behalf. The Affiliate is responsible for its own taxes, registrations, reporting, invoices, bank fees, and compliance arising from commission income. SaveState may withhold or request documentation where legally required.
Term, suspension, and termination
Either party may end participation by written notice. SaveState may immediately disable the code or portal for material breach, fraud, abuse, security risk, unlawful conduct, or misleading promotion. Valid commission finalised before termination remains eligible under this agreement after holds, refunds, disputes, lawful deductions, and verification. No new attribution is created while the program is inactive.
Availability, liability, and changes
The program and portal may change or be unavailable. To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable under this agreement for indirect or consequential loss. SaveState’s aggregate liability relating to the program is limited to unpaid commission finally determined to be due for the twelve months before the claim. This does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including fraud, wilful misconduct, or gross negligence.
SaveState may publish a revised version. When a change materially affects the program, the portal may require acceptance of the new version before the code is active. Continued participation after valid acceptance is governed by the accepted version.
Law and contact
This agreement is governed by Danish law, and disputes are subject to the competent Danish courts unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Questions and payout requests: support@savestate.dk. Legal notices: legal@savestate.dk.
